Pick a Side Any Side.
What would you do?
Who would you choose?
This is a question that’ll leave a lot of people confused,
When it’s you against the world tell me who you trust?
Your boys or your girl who you claim you love so much?
Who will you turn to the girl you touch or the dudes you turn to when you get roughed up?
Who’ll be there for the long run?
What’ll be the outcome when the tragic song of betrayal song’s done?
What will you decide when there’s no other choice?
Who will you abandon and which will you save?
How will you decide which one you’ll send to the grave?
Your boys, your boy, or your girlfriend, girl, wifey whatever you want to call her,
On the pillar of importance which one stands taller?
Do you decide by which one you’ve known longer?
With whom are the bonds stronger?
So many questions there might not be enough time,
But the real question I guess is how you plan to sort this dilemma out in your mind?
Two conflicting stories but she’s got your heart and is so kind,
Two different sides but they’ve been your buddies for some time oh boy isn’t this a bind,
Do you know where your answer hides?
When it all comes falling down which one will you stand by?
As you make a choice she cries,
But who’s most likely to tell you lies?
Do they deserve to have your back turned on them?
You rationalize it by saying if they are my friends they’ll understand and if I’m wrong in my decision then they’ll welcome me back with open arms,
But do you think that’s right to stab them in the back and when your wrong try to heal there scars?
You try to make amends for it’s them you offend
You doubt them then realize they’re right,
Then you say love clouded your sight,
Another scenario could have it all turned around,
And its group you trust that fooled you,
And all that she happened to say was true,
But back to the situation at hand when they both sound right nothing is out of character and there’s no clue,
Pick a side any side,
Do you know where the answer hides?
When it all falls down which one will you stand by?
For the ladies just flip the whole thing in reverse, I’m a dude so I wrote it in the male point of view but it still applies to women as well.
So ladies and gents alike we’ve all been asked, thought, or been around a conversation where this comes up….Who would you choose your girlfriend/boyfriend or your boys/girls? So I decided to write about it because it’s something so common. So I’m wondering what’s everybody’s answers are, so please drop your thoughts and what you think and support your answers. I want mad comments and feedback on this because it’s something interesting and conversation worthy.
